TEE
Today Mom had a TEE endoscopy to look at the back of her heart. The doctors suspected that a valve might be infected and that is what is causing the blood infection/MRSA. At first they tried to go down her throat but with her awake it didn’t work. So they put her out and did the procedure in the operating room. We only know a little but they did find something on one of the valves which either caused an infection or is the result of an infection. Since this is an infection it seems now she might be on antibiotics the rest of her life. Please continue to pray for her comfort, peace and healing!

Hi Glenn. You don't know me but your mom has been an inspiration to me since I have met her. My prayer are with her and your family. Please tell her that Ruth R. Pouchie (class of 1993) sends my regards and prayers. Her guidance, instructions, and kindness towards me was the best thing I've experienced at that university. Tell her I still have the blue bird she gave me, that I love her, and thanks for everything, especially for believing in me.
I am sure many of my classmates feel this way. She was was a beautiful light in our lives. Her affection, smile, and optimistic re-assurance that everything is good sure went a long way, even today in my life.
